The Healthy Hair Workshop took place all the way back in May. I have not been blogging much recently so allow me to go back in time to update you on what went on.

Dr Agility of Purejoie Consulting

Nat Mane of DeepBrown & Kinks and Dr. Agility Ihesie of Purejoie Consulting were my co-hosts for the workshop. To say that they are a very knowledgeable pair is to understate things.

I love capturing pictures of people mid-selfie.

A necessary tool for learning how to care for hair. She even has a name 🙂

We covered a lot of ground – from hair growth, balding, product knowledge, we briefly touched on styling…..tons of stuff, really. I can’t begin to go into it all here. Just know that it was a lot! We actually ran out of time and couldn’t achieve all we planned. Talk about a packed class.

The fabulous Ms. Kemi Lewis of KLS Natural Bar

There were 3 salons represented – Nikki O Salon in Lekki 1, KLS Natural Bar in Dolphin, Ikoyi, Lagos and Emstrands Salon in Uyo Akwa Ibom. A few individuals also joined the group.

She came all the way from Uyo to pick up tips to make sure her salon stands out.

Guy from Ebony TV

We are mentioned here, in an Ebony TV program, EL Reports (if you don’t want to watch it all, you can skip ahead to 6:30.

Participant, Mary, preps her hair to be styled.

I have been asked if there are going to be any more classes.

Mary and Debola (one of my first customers ever)

The answer is Yes! We will definitely have more classes but we will also tailor it more to Salons so if you have a salon and need to send your personnel on training, we will be right there for you.

Also, if you want to set up a salon, email me and we (my super competent team & I) will hook you up!

By the way, only healthy snacks can be served at a healthy hair workshop. Zobo and oat cookies from Carib Health Nigeria

This workshop was sponsored by Sizzelle Stores. Please check them out. They stock a wide variety of hair, skin and even fitness products. Plus they have fantastic customer care.
