We had a good array of ingredients for our formulations
On the 14th of March, we held the first ever Formula Botanica training in Nigeria. The tutor was Nkechi Ofoegbu. We had an amazing crowd of women - everyone got along really well and were really open about their businesses. This is something we need more of, frankly! Collaborations get us farther ahead as an industry. Anyhoo, we had a lovely group of women. I loved the fact that some of them literally travelled out of their comfort zone to come for this class. We had people come in from Ife, Kano and Calabar.
With Nkechi at the helm, we made Facial Washes, Facial Mists, Facial Creams, Facial Serums, Facial Toners and Facial Masks. All the products any woman needs for facial care. Participants were taught to properly calculate formulas so that they can replicate their products over and over again, consistently. Before we had even finished, some had written new formulations they wanted to try out at home.
I had a lot of fun at this training and if you would like to join us for the next one, please save the date - July 4th.
